Applicability
These Terms apply to all bookings, transactions, and interactions made on BackpackersUnited.in, the official website operated by B U Travel Ventures. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website after such changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Your order or booking constitutes an offer to purchase services, which must be accepted by B U Travel Ventures. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion. A confirmation email or message from us constitutes acceptance of your booking.
Cancellations made by you are subject to the applicable cancellation policy stated on the relevant tour or product page. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days, after deducting applicable charges. Non-refundable bookings or services specifically marked as such are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Pricing and Payment
All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without notice. The final payable amount, including applicable taxes and fees, will be displayed at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment gateway. By using the payment gateway, you agree to the terms and privacy policies of the payment provider (e.g., Razorpay, Cashfree, etc.). B U Travel Ventures is not liable for any payment failures, technical issues, or delays caused by external payment processors.
All payments and refunds are handled under the legal entity B U Travel Ventures, operating the brand Backpackers United.
Delivery of Services
All travel and tour services are delivered via authorized vendors, guides, and third-party partners. We are not responsible for any payments made directly to vendors outside our official channels.
Smoking and Alcohol Policy
Consumption of alcohol or drugs during treks, tours, or other events organized by Backpackers United is strictly prohibited unless explicitly permitted under certain controlled circumstances. This policy ensures participant safety and compliance with legal and environmental regulations.
Cancellations and Refunds
To cancel your booking, please send a written request to bookingsbackpackersunited@gmail.com at least 7 days before the start of your travel or event.
Refunds are subject to the specific cancellation policy associated with your booking. They will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Certain services may have non-refundable components due to advance commitments with hotels, transport, or forest departments.
Permit Dependency Clause
Certain treks and tours offered by Backpackers United are subject to obtaining official permits from respective state, forest, or wildlife departments. The issuance of such permits lies solely at the discretion of the relevant government authorities.
In the event that required permits are not issued, delayed, or revoked, B U Travel Ventures reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the trek or tour. Participants acknowledge that such events are beyond the company’s control and agree that no liability or compensation shall arise due to such modifications.

Force Majeure
B U Travel Ventures shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, or power failures.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute or claim arising under these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings held in Bangalore, India.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from B U Travel Ventures. Any unauthorized assignment shall be deemed invalid.
No Waiver
Failure by B U Travel Ventures to enforce any part of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or any future enforcement.
