Hey backpackers and outdoorsmen out there!
In this weblog, I’m going to talk about an aesthetic town in the Western Ghats of Karnataka known for its alluring beauty. The moment someone hears about going on a trip to this town, a wave of excitement immediately just rushes through them! I don’t think it's way too difficult for you to guess the name of the town I'm trying to talk about. Of course—the town I'm referring to is none other than Chikmagalur, which in the local language means "the younger daughter's town."Local legend has it that the town was awarded as a dowry when the area’s chief got his younger daughter married. Today, it has transformed to be a place without which the list of Karnataka Monsoon Destinations is incomplete and it is there on almost every adventure and nature lover's bucket list.
Chikkamagaluru is a favourite hub for a wide variety of tourists, including nature lovers, thrill seekers, and adventure enthusiasts. It has also got some wonderful temples that attract the family crowds. Not to mention, it's a popular honeymoon spot for newly married couples looking forward to beginning their new journey together. In this blog, I'll take you through the top 35 beautiful attractions in and around Chikmagalur that every tourist must consider visiting. Come on, let's embark on a memorable voyage to Chikmagalur!
