Chowpatty Beach

    One of the must-visit beaches in Mumbai! Chowpatty Beach also referred to as Girgaum Chowpatty one of the famous and most crowded beaches. It has a spectacular atmosphere, and street food, and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. This place comes love in the evening with the beautiful background vire of the sunset and the track of Marine drive along the beach. There are activities for children to play, while there families picnicking, coupes strolling and elders having even talks and walks. Accompanying this there are array of street food servings from spicy pav bhaji, bhel puri, and tangy pani puri to sweet kulfi and flavors of ice creams. Nothing can beat Munbai’s street food culture while they also provide an authentic taste of local flavors.

This beach is also known for its cultural significance during Mumbai’s most famous festival - Ganesh Chaturthi. During this festival, the idols of Lord Ganesh are deep and immerse Chowpatty Beach. This is indeed a beautiful event happening every year in August and Septemeber. This beach also hosts various events and activities conducted by upcoming artists, influencers, and social media celebrities. Talking about all these happening in Chowpatty there is also a serious environmental concern that needs to be addressed here. Due to the events, festivals, and celebrations, this beach is polluted with plastic, papers, etc which adversely affect marine life. So it is our responsibility to keep things clean and avoid littering the place when we visit.
