North India classics
Set off on a 5-day, 4-night adventure that encapsulates the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural legacy of North India. This trip starts in the energetic city of Jaipur, travels through the untamed landscapes of Ranthambore, and ends with the magnificent sights of Agra. The Pink City of Jaipur, well-known for its colourful bazaars and royal past, is where your journey begins. You'll be greeted and taken to your hotel upon arrival. Visit Amber Fort, a magnificent example of Rajput architecture located on a hilltop, to start your journey. Explore the complex beauty of Sheesh Mahal inside the fort and take in the breathtaking vistas of Maota Lake. After that, see the astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the City Palace, which has museums displaying royal artefacts. Take a drive by the famous Hawa Mahal to round off your day, seeing the honeycomb facade come to life as the sun sets.
Explore Jaipur even further by going to the Albert Hall Museum, a historical and artistic gold mine. After that, unwind in the quiet Sisodia Rani Garden, with its lush vegetation and ornamental fountains, which is a symbol of love and peace. Drive the three to four hours to Ranthambore after lunch. After arriving, settle into your lodging close to the national park and get ready for the thrilling wildlife encounters that lie ahead of you. One of India's most popular wildlife sites, Ranthambore National Park, is the perfect place to begin your day with an early morning safari. A variety of bird species, sloth bears, leopards, and the elusive Bengal tiger are among the fauna to keep a watch out for. Visit the historic Ranthambore Fort after the safari for a comprehensive look into the history of the area and for sweeping views of the surrounding jungle. You have the evening to unwind and take in the area's natural splendour.
After breakfast, set out for Agra, which will take around five hours to reach. Discover the deserted Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri along route, which is a well-preserved reminder of Akbar's rule. Admire the magnificent buildings, such as the Buland Darwaza and the tastefully designed Tomb of Salim Chishti. Proceed towards Agra, where you will check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the magnificent Agra Fort. After that, have breakfast at your accommodation and get ready to go back to Jaipur. As you return, complete your remarkable adventure by thinking back on the amazing events of your tour.
