Ladakh Biking Adventure

Leh is known for its vast lands of sand dunes, valleys that should be captured for our socials with culture that is rich in its heritage. A city in the Union Territory of Ladakh, it is the largest city and joint capital of Ladakh. Explore the traditions of Leh Ladakh, filled with spirituality and adventure making it the perfect combination for thrill seekers and mindful souls. Situated at an elevation of 3500 meters above sea level, Leh is meant to be experienced once in a lifetime. Home for Buddhist monks and momos, valleys that reminds us the true beauty of nature and landscapes making us feel tiny in the vast lands. Best time to visit would be from April to July as the temperature lies between 15 to 25 degree celsius.

The tour starts off at Leh, where travellers will have an overnight stay and acclimatize with weather to visit the nearby sightseeings. Travellers will drive to the famous Nubra Valley, for a camel ride over the sand dunes. On the way, travellers will drive through the Khardung La Pass which is the world’s second motorable road in the world. Visit the Diskit Gompa, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery. Visit the Turtuk Village which was a part of Pakistan before 1971 followed by an epic off roading experience in Pangong Tso with an overnight stay

Day 1

(Leh) Arrival in Leh | Rest & Acclimatization Day || 11,600 ft

On arriving in Leh and transfer to the hotel on your own basis. The rest of the day would be free for acclimatization to the high altitudes of Ladakh.

Day 2

(Nubra) Leh to Nubra Valley || 10,000 ft | 160 KM | 5-6 hr

Nubra Valley

Wake up to a refreshing morning and travel to Nubra Valley, via Khardung La, Diskit & Hunder Sand Dunes

Once you reach Nubra, enjoy a camel ride in the desert mountains of Hunder (additional cost).

Day 3

(Nubra) Nubra Valley to Turtuk Village to Nubra Valley 9,850 ft | 196 KM | 8-9 hr

After the sun peeps out, you will pack your bags as you will leave for Turtuk village which was under Pakistan before 1971

Nestled in the Nubra tehsil, 205 km from the Leh town, on the banks of the Shyok River, it is the last village before LOC

After exploring Turtuk you will travel back towards Nubra

Day 4

(Pangong) Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso || 14,000 ft | 160 KM | 7-8 hr

Prepare for another day of a daring off-roading experience as you traverse through untamed paths in the high mountains.

Visit Pangong Tso (lake) via Shyok river or Wari La Pass

Visit the world's highest saltwater lake, Pangong Tso via Agam Shayok Road

In case Pangong Tso is closed then we shall ride back to Leh and do the day excursion to Pangong Tso on the next day in SUV/tempo traveller

Day 5

(Leh) Pangong Tso to Leh via Changla Pass || 160 KM | 5-6 hr

Druk White Lotus School

In the morning, get set for yet another exhilarating ride as you head back to Leh, via Chang La pass (the third highest mountain pass in the world).

En route, stop at the famous Druk White Lotus School, featured in the blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘3 Idiots’.

Departure from Leh

After breakfast, get transferred to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey. Trip Ends.

Leh is very well connected with flights and Trains. By flight, it takes about 6 hours to reach via Delhi International Airport and by train, a 39-hour journey from Bengaluru to New Delhi followed by a flight to Leh airport.
What kind of permits do I require to visit Leh, Ladakh?
You need Inner Line Permits (ILP) for certain areas, like Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake.
Do I have any ATM facilities in Leh, Ladakh?
Yes, there are ATMs in Leh town, but it's advisable to carry enough cash as ATMs may not always be operational due to network issues.
