Today you will be exploring Kathmandu, starting off with Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its stunning pagoda architecture, richly adorned with intricate carvings.
Visit the Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, a historic Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu. Perched atop a hill, it offers panoramic views of the city. The stupa is adorned with the iconic Buddha eyes, prayer flags, and intricate carvings.
Have a self-sponsored lunch and visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features a massive white dome topped with a golden spire, adorned with Buddha's all-seeing eyes.
