Today you will be exploring Kathmandu, starting off with Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal's most sacred Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its stunning pagoda architecture, richly adorned with intricate carvings.

Visit the Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, a historic Buddhist stupa in Kathmandu. Perched atop a hill, it offers panoramic views of the city. The stupa is adorned with the iconic Buddha eyes, prayer flags, and intricate carvings.

Have a self-sponsored lunch and visit the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most significant Buddhist stupas in the world. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features a massive white dome topped with a golden spire, adorned with Buddha's all-seeing eyes.

Later, visit the Budhanilkantha, a sacred Hindu site featuring a large, reclining statue of Lord Vishnu, carved from a single black stone. The statue lies in a pool of water, symbolizing the cosmic ocean.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was once the royal residence and is now a vibrant center of art, architecture, and history, showcasing exquisite Newari craftsmanship and traditional festivals.

Later, visit the Lumbini Crane Santuary, a protected area dedicated to preserving the habitat of the endangered Sarus crane.

Located near the sacred birthplace of Buddha, this sanctuary offers a peaceful haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers, blending wildlife conservation with spiritual significance.

Following an early breakfast, check out of the stay as we go to Tilaurakot, taking in the picturesque landscape of the level terrain, and pay a visit to the nearby historical ruins and shrines, including Kudan, an archaeological site of great significance in Buddhist history. It is believed to be the place where Buddha met his father, King Suddhodana, after attaining enlightenment.

Visit the Gotihawa, an ancient Buddhist site believed to be the birthplace of Krakuchhanda Buddha, one of the past Buddhas. The site features a large, crumbling stupa and an Ashokan pillar, marking its historical and spiritual significance in the region's rich Buddhist heritage.

Have a self-sponsored lunch and visit the Niglihawa, a significant archaeological site linked to Kanakamuni Buddha, one of the previous Buddhas. The site features an ancient stupa and an Ashokan pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka, commemorating the Buddha’s birthplace.
