Overview

An adventure like never before

Meghalaya offers a well-rounded experience of some of Northeast India's most vibrant and culturally rich destinations. Starting in Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast, this journey unfolds through the rolling hills and charming towns of Meghalaya. The state's capital, Shillong, known as the "Scotland of the East," captivates visitors with its unique blend of colonial history, bustling markets, and local Khasi culture.

As the tour progresses, you’ll make your way to Cherrapunji, a place that holds the record for being one of the wettest spots on Earth. This region is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, where waterfalls cascade from great heights and the living root bridges stand as a testament to the ingenuity of the local tribes.

Further into the trip, the crystal-clear waters of Dawki and the surrounding areas present a more peaceful side of Meghalaya. The Umngot River, with its glassy surface, offers a surreal experience that feels almost otherworldly. This tour is not just about visiting tourist spots but about immersing yourself in the local way of life, sampling the unique cuisine, and understanding the deep cultural ties that the people have with their land.

Whether it’s the bustling markets of Shillong, the echoing sound of waterfalls in Cherrapunji, or the tranquil beauty of Dawki, this 6-day journey through Meghalaya is an opportunity to connect with a part of India that feels like a world of its own.
