Day by Day

Itinerary

Day 0

Overnight Journey from Bangalore to Kodaikanal

Start your journey to explore Kodaikanal by an overnight drive from Bangalore at convenient locations. The travel time is approximately 7-8 hours, and the vehicle will depend on the group size.

Day 1

Kodai Exploration

Arrive at Kodaikanal have a self-sponsored breakfast and head to the top attractions in Kodaikanal. The number one place on our bucket list Silent Valley Viewpoint, offers the best views of the town, while the actual fun is to watch your gang lean in for the perfect selfie but end up having a messy hair picture due to the wind.

Poombarai Village View Point offers a view like a patchwork of terraced fields, but the roads to get there might make you feel like you're in a 'just keep driving' mode.

Now it’s time to complete the check-in formalities at Kodaikanal Hotel.

Take a self-sponsored lunch break and head to further exploration.

Bryant Park is a beautifully landscaped garden filled with vibrant flowers, make sure you navigate the winding paths without getting lost in the greenery.

Kodai Lake Boating offers a peaceful glide across the water, but it's always a laugh when first-timers end up rowing in circles instead of rowing to the shore.

This is the wrap-up! Go back to the hotel and enjoy your overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Day 2

Explore Kodaikanal

Wake up and have breakfast, my suggestion would be to taste the authentic idli and sambar served hot in the cold weather. Fuel up for further adventure.

Moir’s Point provides the best views of the valleys, but the irony is watching people brace themselves against the wind while trying to snap that perfect picture.

Explore Pine Forest for aromatic pine-scented air and beauty.

Guna Caves are mysterious but it's the 'enter if you dare' vibe that makes everyone feel like they're stepping into a real-life horror movie. Described the “Manjummel Boys” movie in a sentence!

Pillar Rocks is an inspiring sight, but with the mist playing hide-and-seek, it's like nature's version of ‘'expectation vs. reality'’.

Coaker's Walk, take a good stroll here and get entertained by watching people try to capture the perfect photo to post.

These activities would be exhausting, return to the hotel have dinner, and fall asleep.

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

We’re not done Yet! Check out and head to Vattakanal Waterfalls, which features a lovely flow of water surrounded by greenery, making it a nice spot for refreshment.

Dolphin's Nose offers a great vantage point with sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Please don’t figure out the Dolphin’s nose here!

Take a Lunch break (self-sponsored).

Here is the last and most adoring spot in Kodaikanal i..e., the Silver Cascade Falls, and the name describes it all.

Now let’s go back home with loads of memories. Enjoy the drive to Bangalore.
