Overview

Brahamagiri Trek: Explore Nature’s Best Trails

Brahmagiri, at 1608 m above sea level, is a hill range on the Western Ghats bordering Kerala and Karnataka. It is situated on the border between Wyanad District of Kerala state on the south and Kodagu District in Karnataka on the north side.

The trek on one of the tallest hills in the state offers a rather unique experience, by virtue of being the most picturesque as well as first-time-trekker-friendly. Moreover, the trek takes you through the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary – home to a large herd of elephants – that shares its borders with Kerala. The trail also passes through numerous dense forests, endless grasslands, river streams and water falls like the famous Iruppu Falls.
