Journey to the base from major cities
Reaching the base camp for the Sar Pass Trek is very easy! If one is coming by bus from Delhi then there are many buses available for overnight journeys to Kasol. For people flying in, the nearest airport is Bhuntar from which a taxi can be taken to Kasol. Even people coming from Chandigarh or Manali can easily find buses and taxis up to Kasol. The trek originates from Barshaini, which is just half an hour's drive from Kasol. So you don’t really have to scratch your head for anything apart from packing your bags and getting ready for a trek that will linger in your memory for years.
