    The beautiful man-made freshwater lake, Lake Pichola, is situated in the centre of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Built by a Banjara (gipsy) tribesman in 1362 AD, Maharana Udai Singh II expanded the lake when he established the city of Udaipur.
