Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival & Journey from Cochin to Munnar

Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station/Bus Stand, you'll be warmly greeted by our representative. From here, your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Munnar, a hill station known for its lush tea plantations and cool climate.

On the way, we'll stop at the Cheyyara waterfalls, where the cascading waters create a refreshing spectacle. Next, you’ll visit the Valara and Attukadu waterfalls, each offering unique and awe-inspiring views. As you pass through the spice plantations, you'll catch the heady aroma of fresh cardamom, cloves, and pepper in the air, a sign that you’ve truly arrived in Kerala.

After reaching Munnar, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore its charming sights. Overnight stay at a cozy hotel in Munnar.

Day 2

Munnar Sightseeing

After a hearty breakfast, we'll dive into Munnar’s top attractions. First on the list is Eravikulam National Park (Raja Malai), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and renowned for its rolling hills and scenic viewpoints.

You’ll also visit the Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy a boat ride and take in the stunning surroundings of the dam and reservoir. The journey continues through tea estates—iconic to Munnar’s landscape—leading you to Echo Point, where the natural acoustics of the location allow your voice to bounce back at you.

The day wraps up with visits to the Rose Garden, Tea Museum, and Blossom Park, where you’ll get a closer look at Munnar’s natural and cultural history. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady/Periyar (105 km/3.5 hrs)

After breakfast, we’ll head toward Thekkady, a haven for wildlife and nature lovers. Your first stop will be the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can embark on a boat ride across the Periyar Lake. Keep an eye out for wild elephants, boar, deer, and if you're lucky, even the elusive Indian Tiger.

We’ll also visit the Mullaperiyar Dam, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Following that, you’ll tour the spice plantations, where you can shop for fresh and exotic spices like black pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon.

In the evening, the choice is yours: indulge in an Ayurvedic massage, catch a Kathakali or martial arts performance, or even enjoy an elephant ride and elephant bath. The day ends with a relaxing overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4

Thekkady to Kovalam (235 km/6 hrs)

We shall begin our journey to Kovalam, home to some of Kerala’s most famous beaches. On arrival, you'll visit Lighthouse Beach, a stunning stretch of sand with a towering lighthouse offering panoramic views of the coastline.

Next, we'll head to Hawah Beach and Ashoka Beach, where the golden sands and coconut palms create the perfect setting for a beachside escape. Spend your evening soaking in the views or unwinding by the waves. Overnight stay at a beachfront hotel in Kovalam.

Day 5

Kovalam–Trivandrum–Kovalam

Today, you can either relax by the beach or opt for a Trivandrum city tour. If you choose the city tour, we’ll visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the richest temples in the world, renowned for its architectural grandeur.

Other attractions include the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the Napier Museum, and the Sree Chithra Art Gallery, all of which house treasures of Kerala's artistic and royal history. The Zoological Park is another highlight, offering a fun and educational experience for families. After a day of exploration, you'll return to Kovalam for another relaxing night by the beach.

Day 6

Kovalam to Alleppey Houseboat (180 km/4 hrs)

We’ll depart for Alleppey in the morning, where a houseboat awaits to take you through the tranquil backwaters of Kerala. You’ll spend 21 hours floating on traditional Kerala-style houseboats, experiencing the serene beauty of the region as you pass by lush green paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages.

Onboard, you’ll be treated to a warm welcome, followed by a series of meals, including lunch, snacks, dinner, and breakfast. The houseboat stay is a highlight of any Kerala tour, offering a peaceful escape into nature. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 7

Alleppey to Cochin (60 km/1.5 hrs)

After an early check-out from the houseboat, we’ll head back to Cochin for a full day of sightseeing. You’ll visit historic landmarks such as Fort Cochin, St. Francis Church, the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, and the Mattancherry Palace.

We'll also stop by the Jewish Synagogue and the scenic Marine Drive. If you have time, you can indulge in some last-minute shopping at Lulu Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in India.

Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 8

Departure

On the final day, if time permits, you can indulge in some more shopping or sightseeing before your departure. Our representative will drop you off at Cochin Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand, ensuring you have all the necessary assistance for a smooth journey home.

As you depart, you’ll carry with you the cherished memories of an unforgettable Kerala adventure!
