Day 1

Arrival & Negombo Beach

Upon arrival, we shall head straight to Negombo, a vibrant beach city near the airport, situated at the mouth of the Negombo Lagoon. Known for its scenic coastline and bustling fish markets, it’s a perfect introduction to Sri Lanka’s coastal charm.

Evening leisure on Negombo Beach, where you can relax by the waves or explore the lively beachfront.

Day 2

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & Kandy Exploration

In the morning, we head to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a heartwarming sanctuary that cares for rescued elephants. You’ll witness baby elephants being bottle-fed, playful tricks, and have a chance to interact with these majestic animals as they bathe or roam the sanctuary.

Next, we continue our journey to Kandy, an ancient city with rich history and cultural significance. After checking in, we will visit the Kandy Temple (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which houses the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha, making it one of the holiest sites for Buddhists worldwide.

In the evening, immerse yourself in a traditional Kandyan Cultural Show, featuring graceful dances inspired by animals and birds, acrobatic performances, and a fiery finale that brings Sri Lankan culture to life.

Peradeniya Botanical Garden & Kandy Leisure

After breakfast, we head to Nuwara Eliya, a charming hill station known for its cool climate and British colonial architecture. En route, we’ll pass picturesque tea plantations.

Visit a Green Tea Plantation, where you can learn about the tea-picking process, chat with the women who work there, and try your hand at picking the leaves yourself.

You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at Sri Lanka’s famous tea-making process in a Tea Factory, learning how tea is withered, rolled, and dried using traditional methods, with a tea tasting at the end of the tour.

Day 5

Journey to Bentota Beach

We shall head south to Bentota Beach, one of Sri Lanka’s finest beaches, known for its calm waves and laid-back vibe. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.

Bentota is also a haven for water sports enthusiasts, offering activities like jet skiing, windsurfing, and even whale and dolphin watching. Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, Bentota has something for everyone.

Madu River Safari & Turtle Hatchery

In the morning, we head for a Madu River Boat Safari, where you’ll glide through mangrove tunnels, explore tiny islands, and witness the incredible diversity of marshland wildlife. Cinnamon Island is a highlight, where you’ll learn about cinnamon cultivation from local experts and enjoy fish therapy at the river’s fish farms.

Afterward, visit a Turtle Hatchery, which protects endangered sea turtles. You’ll see these gentle creatures up close, from newly hatched babies to fully grown adults, learning about the conservation efforts in place to protect them.
