Overview

Located in the picturesque town of Mattupetty, it is a dairy farm for cattle breeding and rearing. Spread over an area of 460 acres, the Indo-Swiss Farm is also a cattle development and Research Centre. It is known as “The Switzerland of Kerala”, due to the Indo-Swiss Livestock project launched in 1963, which led to the formation of this farm.

The view of the rolling pastures and the cattle grazing on the lush green grass are cottage-core vibes personified. As you enter the farm, it feels like you have been transported to the quaint villages of Switzerland. A small stream flows through the farm, making it look magical.

After you complete your tour of the farm, you can also visit some nearby attractions such as the Mattupetty Dam and Carmelagiri Elephant Park.
