Trekking through these mountains has a different essence all in all. One such trekking experience you shouldn't pass up is the Banasura Hill Trek. The hill got its name after Banasura, one of the mythical characters in Indian folklore. Set up at a challenging altitude of 6,600 feet. The conical-shaped Banasura is the second-highest peak between Nilgiris and Banasura nestled in Wayanad, which beholds Chembra Peak and Pakshipathalam.

Day 0

Departure from Bengaluru to Wayanad

On Friday, Get picked up in Bengaluru from the following points and start your Banasura trekking tour. Travel in private Non A/C transportation.

Upon early arrival in Wayanad, settle into your homestay and have breakfast.

Ascend to the Banasura Hilltop, the trek's pinnacle, to behold panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Experience exhilaration at Muddy Bootz, home to the longest zipline, offering a thrilling adventure.

Have a self-sponsored lunch on the way.

Commence your return journey to Bangalore, bidding farewell to Wayanad's enchanting landscapes.

You don't have to carry all your extra belongings along the trek. Instead, you can leave them at the campsite or homestay and only take the essential items for the trek, such as raincoats, a flashlight, a water bottle, a lunchbox, and any valuables.

Restroom facilities are not available along the trekking route, so it's recommended to utilize these facilities before commencing the trek.
