Day 1

Start your Brahmatal trek journey from Rishikesh railway station or bus stand in the early morning.
Pick Up and Departure: We'll pick up all the trekkers and head towards Lohagunj, located in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand.
Journey Details: Lohagunj, around 225 KM from Kathgodam, entails a 9-hour scenic drive with views of towns like Devprayag, Karnprayag, and Rudraprayag.
Arrival at Lohagunj: After the drive, arrive at Lohagunj in the evening, a small marketplace that serves nearby towns like Curling, Mundoli, and Wan.
Briefing and Rest: Gather during dinner as the trek leader outlines the next day's itinerary. After the briefing, rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2

Begin the Brahmatal Trek after a hearty breakfast, ensuring you're equipped with essentials like water and energy bars for the journey.
Traverse Through Nature: As you walk away from the villages, encounter oak and fir forests while walking among the stunning rhododendrons. February to April showcases these flowers in full bloom. Witness the towering Nandaghunti Peak.
Arrival at Base Camp: The initial segment of the trek, taking 4-5 hours, leads you to the beautiful Bekaltal Lake. Set up tents here for a night of lakeside camping.
Enjoy snow-based activities like making snowman's and engaging in snowball fights. Capture picturesque frozen lake and oak forest scenes. Have dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 3

Start the day with a scenic sunrise amidst snow-capped peaks on the Brahmatal Trek.
Freshen up and enjoy breakfast before continuing the journey.
Begin with a steep ascent, gradually transitioning to a simpler walk through snow-laden meadows.
Pass through Oak forests and reach Telindi top to witness the Himalayas' majestic beauty.
Arrive at Brahmatal or Khabekhal Lake to set up our campsite for the day.
Day 4

Start the day with breakfast in the captivating setting of Brahmatal.
Today's trek involves climbing to the peak of Brahmatal, an altitude offering an incredible view of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti in their full grandeur.
The ascent to the Brahmatal summit will take about 2-3 hours.
At the summit, prepare to be amazed by a breathtaking panoramic vista of Chaukhambha, Mandir, Mana, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Maitoli, and the mountain ranges that extend to the Panchachuli range.
This marks one of the highlights of the Brahmatal Trek.
Proceed to Daldum Campsite: After enjoying the incredible views from Brahmatal, the next destination is the Daldum campsite.
The trek to this campsite covers a distance of roughly 2.7 km and will take approximately 3 hours.
This segment of the journey will guide you through native forests, showcasing the natural beauty of the area.
Day 5

Retracing the familiar trail back.
Once at Lohajung, check into the arranged stay and finally unwind in a comfortable bed.
Today's trek involves climbing to the peak of Brahmatal, an altitude offering an incredible view of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti in their full grandeur.

Lohajung and Dehradun are quite far from each other. The best way to travel would be to book a scheduled departure, which includes transportation from Dehradun, or take an early morning bus from Dehradun to Lohajung, which is a 12-hour journey.
The first snowfall happens around the month of December, which goes until March.
